Continuing our commitment to your total satisfaction, the Maintenance Plan is the perfect complement to your Subaru's warranty. The Subaru limited warranty is one of the best in the industry. However, you are still responsible for the maintenance needed to keep your warranty in force.

The Maintenance Plan protects your budget, by providing a locked-in price for factory recommended scheduled maintenance during the plan's term, evenly distributed in your monthly car or lease payment if you choose.

What Does the Maintenance Plan Cover?

The Maintenance Plan enhances the Subaru limited warranty by paying for parts and labor for scheduled maintenance listed in your Subaru Warranty & Maintenance Booklet by time and mileage intervals. You can select service intervals of either every 3,750 miles, 7,500 miles or our Severe Maintenance Plan with even more coverage.

Covered Maintenance Services

  • Replace engine oil filter
  • Drive belt and camshaft belt inspection
  • Check clutch operation
  • Inspect steering and suspension
  • Replace engine coolant and inspect cooling system, hoses and connections
  • Replace air cleaner element
  • Replace spark plugs
  • Check transmission/differential lubricants and automatic transmission fluid
  • Inspect disc brake pads and discs, brake linings and drums
  • Replace brake fluid
  • Check brake lines and operation of parking and service brake system
  • Inspect clutch operation, steering and suspension
  • Check front and rear axle boots and axle shaft joints

Trip Interruption

You are protected when a warranty breakdown keeps your car in the shop overnight more than 50 miles from home. The Maintenance Plan pays up to $500 towards your actual expenses for lodging and meals. If necessary, we can even assist you in locating a nearby hotel, rental car or travel agency.

Roadside Assistance

7 days a week, 24 hours a day! Our toll free number will help with trip routing, dealer locator services and:

  • "Sign and Drive" service up to $100 per disablement to get you back on the road as quickly as possible with no cash outlay.
  • Emergency dispatched towing for covered warranty or Added Security breakdowns.
  • Emergency on-site road service for jump start, gasoline delivery, tire change (with your good spare) and other minor repairs.
  • Emergency lockout or locksmith service.
  • Computerized trip routing (where available).
  • Lost key retrieval system, and much more.

Road Hazdard Tire Protection

Guards you against the costs related to tire damage from potholes, nails, glass and other road hazdards not covered by the tire manufacturer's warranty. The four original tires are covered for repairable leaks or punctures during the plan term. In the event that tire replacement is necessary, the plan will cover the prorated cost up to $300.

What Is Not Covered?

The Maintenance Plan does not cover services required or performed prior to issuance of the plan or by other than an authorized Subaru dealer within the continental United States (excluding Hawaii and Puerto Rico).

Any costs for additional items or services performed at the time of scheduled maintenance visits are your responsibility.

A: You are responsible for proper maintenance of your Subaru during the factory warranty. In addition to covering maintenance, the Maintenance Plan provided dispatched towing, roadside assistance, as well as allowances for rental car, hotel and meals necessitated by warranty repairs during the plan term.
Q: What should I do when it is time to have scheduled maintenance performed on my Subaru?
A: We will send you service coupons that can be redeemed at any participating Subaru dealer. The Maintenance Plan is honored throughout the United States and Canada.
Q: What if I sell my Subaru before the Maintenance Plan expires?
A: To enhance resale value, any remaining coverage can be transferred to a subsequent owner for a small service fee. Or if you prefer, you can cancel your plan and apply for a pro rata refund.
Q: What should I do if I need roadside assistance?
A: Cross Country Motor Club will send you a separate package which will provide a 24-hour toll free emergency number to call, as well as detailed information about the many other services available to you.
