Aaron Taylor was Walker’s Renton Subaru’s STAR Advisor for 2022. This means he showed exceptional customer service skills, while continuously making a huge impact in our office and within the community. Aaron has been a Subaru Service Advisor with us for 5 years now.
He was first interested in the position from his fascination of when his dad would work on his car growing up. From then on, Aaron knew he wanted to learn more about cars; Ultimately taking it into his career and as a hobby.
With his position at Walker’s, he is able to pick technicians brains each day to continue educating himself with all thing’s automotive.
“I ask everyone questions, so that I can educate the customer better and be the best advisor that I can be”, says Aaron, “you have to learn to be a good student, in order to be a good teacher”.
Aaron believes that if you are not learning something new each day at work, you’re not getting the most out of your job. He considers himself a teacher in his role as a service advisor for the customers. He works to explain in-depth what is needed to be done on customer’s vehicles and answering any questions they might have. His best advice is to “remain confident in your knowledge and in the direction you want to help the customer”.
