To commemorate the end of Subaru Loves the Earth® Month, Walker's Renton Subaru teamed up to tackle garbage in downtown Renton. The group met right after work with smiles on their faces. It was one of the first warm days of the year, and it was hot!
Each person threw on a safety vest and picked up a garbage-grabber. After just an hour and a half, more than 15 garbage bags were filled, along with 5 recycling bags! The team bonded over who found the craziest items, with a car door being the winner.
The Downtown Renton Partnership made this event seamless and stress-free. Walker's Renton Subaru agreed to continue garbage clean-ups in the future, not just during Subaru Loves the Earth Month. We’re proud to support the downtown Renton businesses, our community, and our planet.
We had such a great time getting to know each other outside of work while making our community a cleaner and safer place! Our commitment to the planet doesn’t stop at the end of April. Walker’s Renton Subaru is dedicated to making a positive environmental impact on our community year-round!
